SCORE TRACKER

Privacy

Score Tracker shows GAA club scores, fixtures and results. It keeps as little about you as it can. This page lists everything it does keep.

No cookies, no tracking

The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising scripts. Pages are served through Cloudflare, which handles the connection and may keep its own short-lived technical logs under its own terms.

On your device

Your favourites, the order of the sidebar, the colour theme and the clock setting live in your browser’s local storage. They never leave your device unless you turn on alerts (below). Clearing site data in your browser removes them.

Alerts

If you turn on push alerts, the site stores the push address your browser gives it, the keys needed to encrypt messages to it, and the list of clubs, teams and competitions you follow, so it knows what to send. Nothing in that record names you. It is deleted when you turn alerts off, and automatically if the push service keeps rejecting it.

An account

You can use the site without one. If you sign in, the site stores your email address, a display name if you set one, the list of clubs, teams and competitions you follow (so it is the same on every device), any passkeys you add (only the public half, never anything that could sign in on its own), and a record of your sign-in sessions with the browser’s name and when each was last used. A sign-in link is single use and lasts 15 minutes; only a hash of it is stored. Sessions end after 90 days or when you sign out. Deleting your account removes all of this at once.

Messages you send

The contact form stores what you type: the message, the topic, and your name and email if you give them. With it, for one day, it keeps a hash of your IP address (used only to limit how many messages one connection can send) and the first 200 characters of your browser’s user-agent string (to help with bug reports); both are wiped after that. Messages themselves are kept until they have been dealt with and removed 90 days after that.

Scoring a game at the ground

Anyone at a game can claim it and post the score as it happens. The site keeps the name you give, a hash made from your connection and device (never the address itself) so one person holds the game at a time, and every score, card and substitution you enter. A photo of a team sheet is sent to an AI model to read the names and numbers, then deleted straight away, and never later than 24 hours. Only the names and numbers you confirm are kept, as that game’s line-up.

Club PRO links

A club’s score link records when it was last used and every score it sent, with the club name. It does not record who used it.

Public sources

Scores, fixtures, tables, team names and match reports come from the county boards’ public websites and from public posts by clubs, boards and local media on X and YouTube. Player names appear only as they were published by those sources.

Your rights

To see or delete anything the site holds that relates to you, use the contact form and say what you sent and when. Alerts can be turned off from any page where you turned them on.
